David has worked in the finance industry since 1982, bringing over 40 years of experience across a broad range of banking and finance roles.
Throughout his career, he has held positions in client restructuring, credit, sales, relationship management, and leadership – giving him a strong understanding of how to support clients at every stage of their financial journey.

David has worked across many locations and markets, developing a deep appreciation for the diverse financial needs of individuals, families, and businesses. His most senior banking role was as Chief Manager, Rural and Regional Banking for Eastern Australia with BankWest, where he led large teams and played a key role in shaping service strategies for clients across multiple regions.
After leaving full-time banking, David took on a variety of consultancy and contract roles, helping financial institutions improve their operations and customer service. These experiences helped lay the foundation for launching his own business – Regional Finance.
David holds a Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking (2013) and a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management (2015). He has also been a Justice of the Peace since 1988 and was awarded Fellow of Finance status in 2005, recognising his long-standing contribution to the industry.
As Managing Director of Regional Finance, David is responsible for the overall direction and leadership of the business. He is focused on building a strong, values-driven team and ensuring every client receives personal, straightforward, and expert service. His approach is all about listening carefully, offering clear guidance, and creating real value for clients.
Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his wife Debbie, their two adult children, and four grandchildren. They love exploring new places, heading out camping when they can, and making the most of family time. For David, this connection with family and community is a big part of what keeps his work grounded and meaningful.
With a strong track record and a genuine commitment to helping people make confident financial decisions, David continues to lead Regional Finance with integrity, experience, and care.
