New Team Members

Regional Finance Solutions welcomes our new team members.

The last few months have been very busy for us here at Regional Finance Solutions and we have welcomed several new people to the team.

Greg Smith – Greg is based in Coopernook and will support Steve Warren (Forster), Ian Croker (Forster) and Damien Gow (Taree) in assisting clients from south of Port Macquarie to the Great Lakes. Apart from finance Greg has a heritage in the armed services and building industry and brings a wealth of skill and knowledge to the team.

Malinda Sherrard – Malinda is based in Crescent Head and will support Mark Prosper (Kempsey) and Gary Scott (Kempsey) in assisting clients from Nambucca Heads to Port Macquarie. Malinda has many years experience in the finance industry having spent time working for a Big 4 bank through to local Credit Unions.  Malinda also has extensive experience in the hospitality industry so brings some new ideas to our service delivery (we promise that she will not ask if you “would like fries with that!”).

Sarah Pitkin – Sarah is based in Bathurst and will support Gary Goldsmith (Bathurst) and Keith Sheardown (Orange) in assisting clients in the central west. Sarah is originally a farm girl from Cobar and spent time in underground mining before turning her hand to finance a few years ago.

Maddie Cunningham – Maddie is based in Narrabri and will be looking after the Narrabri, Wee Waa and Moree area, with a special emphasis on business lending.  Maddie joins the team after 17 years working for a Big 4 bank.

Melanie Gosson – Melanie is based at Inverell in our Head Office. Melanie has a history in the political, accounting and legal sectors. Melanie’s role is focused on improving our back office processes, developing our online capabilities, and improving our client experience and engagement.

Mark Rex – Mark is also based in Inverell in our Head Office.  Mark has a diverse range of working history, coupled with near on 40 years banking experience. Mark’s role is mostly focused on managing our compliance, process and reporting requirements. Mark and Melanie’s roles will overlap when it comes to ensuring that our client service moves to a new level.

Robert Drewitt – Robert joined us four years ago but as Robert owns a farm in Bingara he took a break from the business during the drought. Robert has a long history in the finance industry with a special focus on agribusiness. Robert has recently relocated to the Atherton Tablelands and will be re-establishing himself in that region in the coming months.  If you want a box of mangos or limes, call Robert!
